IT Help Desk Has Moved to Lucas Administrative Center During Plaza Construction
Easy Access in AC 220
Monday – July 1, 2013
Due to the construction occurring on the central plaza, the IT Help Desk has moved from Steely Library (ITSC SL 220) to Lucas Administrative Center (AC 220) for the near term. This move will provide faculty and staff with easier access to our walk-in service.
Summer hours in AC 220 are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We will continue to provide 24/7 phone support at 859-572-6911 as well as Online Chat Support.
Students can get the technical assistance they need at the Norse Tech Bar in UC 252. Norse Tech Bar summer hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If help is needed after hours, please contact the IT Help Desk at 859-572-6911 or Online Chat Support.
As part of the Student Success Center Initiative, the Norse Tech Bar (UC 252) is our campus technology destination for students. Currently, we have:
- A staff of student technology experts who can answer technical questions and provide basic troubleshooting on computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Nine Windows computers and four Mac computers with black and color printing.
- Collaboration spaces with cables for LED projection.
- High-end printing services for projects, photos, and posters (fee-based service).
Another service coming this fall for students is a 48-hour checkout program for tablets, laptops, and cameras. Also, hardware repair services by an onsite vendor will resume fall semester (fee-based service).
