Graduating Year: 2016
Education: Engineering Pre-Major (Mechanical Engineering from UK) BA Physics from NKU
Career: Mechanical Engineer at Mammotome
The choice to go to NKU for the dual degree program with UK was the most beneficial choice that I could have made in my college career. True it did take me 5 years to complete my college career, but I ultimately, I ended up with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and in Physics, which set me up to be ahead of the rest. When applying for the job I have now they were actually more impressed with my Physics degree than my Engineering Degree. The program also opened up opportunities to do research and apply all of the information I was learning. I will always look back at my college years and be so thankful that I made the decision to attend NKU. If I had not attended Northern Kentucky University I would not be as successful as I am today.
