In the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program, you will learn how to provide care for people of all ages and in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics and community agencies. Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity for experiential learning in our state-of-the-art simulation center. As a graduate of the BSN Program you will be prepared to become a health care leader in a global society.
The BSN degree allows for graduates to practice in a profession that integrates science and the art of caring. Once you successfully complete the degree you will be eligible to sit for the state board licensing exam to become a registered nurse. In alignment with the U.S. Department of Education regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) for Nursing Education, the Baccalaureate Degree Program at Northern Kentucky University provides a comprehensive curriculum which prepares students to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination.
