Esteemed Scholars, Dedicated Teachers
NKU's world-renowned faculty are esteemed scholars, recognized for their expertise nationally and internationally:
- Our professors' scholarly work takes them to settings ranging from sterile laboratories and creative studios on campus to field settings and concert halls around the corner and around the globe.
- They publish and present their work to inform and entertain audiences and share it with colleagues nationally and internationally.
- NKU students frequently serve as true collaborators with faculty in their research, performances, and presentations - gaining valuable hands-on educational experiences.
- Faculty members are also dedicated teachers who value the close working and mentoring relationships they build with students.
- All classes are taught by full- or part-time faculty, not teaching assistants.
- Eighty-two percent of the NKU faculty hold a Ph.D. or the highest degree in their field.
