Did You KNow?

NKU's first residence halls were opened in the fall of 1983.

Where to Eat, Where to Stay

Leaving home to attend college is a big step toward your future. Our goal is to provide you with an affordable, safe and supportive environment that promotes success. We hope you will choose to make University Housing part of your future.

Life in a residence hall at NKU is an important part of the total educational opportunity available to students. With the opening of Callahan Hall in fall 2008, NKU will be able to accommodate 1,850 students in their residential facilities. For many students, NKU is summed up with one word.

Home.

Beginning with freshman move-in day, the residence life program encourages a living environment that supports personal and interpersonal growth and academic achievement. The housing application is designed to help residence life staff select the best possible living situation for each student.

NKU's dining services also encourage community by offering multiple dining arrangements and meal plans for students to choose from. Residential students can utilize their meal plans at both The Village Cafe and Callahan Bistro.
