Upward Bound (UB), a federally funded program hosted by NKU has been on campus since 1989 and at this present location since 1995. The program works with seven secondary schools in the northern Kentucky region to provide academic assistance, leadership development, and postsecondary preparation to 65 participants. During the summer, participants reside on campus, supervised by a number of Resident Assistants that are primarily NKU students. Participants also visit NKU on Saturdays through the year for a variety of programs.
