This Center can provide you with a peaceful way to resolve conflicts and disputes. Dispute resolution will be facilitated by an interested neutral third party in a quiet, peacefully setting. Expect fast, inexpensive results.
Bank of Kentucky Center
Northern Kentucky's Premier Special Events Facility - opening Spring of 2008. The Bank of Kentucky Center is located on the campus of Northern Kentucky University and will be the new home to NKU's Men's and Women's Basketball Teams. It will feature first class concerts, family shows and a wide variety of sporting events.
Burkardt Statistical Consulting Center
Our center provides statistical and mathematical assistance in support of a wide variety of projects. We give advice on data collection and survey design. We recommend, perform, and interpret statistical analyses. We develop and analyze mathematical models for a wide range of applications.
Career Development Center (CDC)
The CDC at Northern Kentucky University, a centralized career services center, works closely with area employers to connect them to talented NKU students and alumni from all majors at the university. The CDC provides a wide range of services to employers: free access to the Norse Recruiting job database portal for posting for career, Co-op and internship positions; free resume referrals; free On-Campus Interviews; and career fairs. CDC staff will consult with employers to help them meet their recruiting goals.
Center for Applied Ecology
We provide professional, science-based, ecological services to the local community while offering practical work experience to NKU students. Working in partnership with government agencies, industry, non-profit organizations, and private landowners, the Center seeks innovative solutions to addresses the region's environmental concerns.
Center for Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics (CINSAM)
CINSAM prepares NKU students who are capable of handling complex interdisciplinary problems by arranging for experiential learning opportunities including research with faculty and internships in industry and business.
Chase Local Government Law Center
Our Center provides research services, technical assistance, and support to Kentucky local governments and those who work with them. In addition, it places student interns in local government agencies and distributes free of charge a newsletter about local government law.
Fifth Third Bank Entrepreneurship Institute
Entrepreneurs don't just start their own businesses - they bring their talents to companies, government agencies, and charitable organizations. The Fifth Third Bank Entrepreneurship Institute is a comprehensive resource for the public in addition to helping prepare P-12 and college students for all kinds of workplaces.
Government and Community Relations
The Office of Government & Community Relations works with government entities and community organizations to provide NKU with an enhanced presence in the region, educating the external community about University priorities and increasing visibility and funding opportunities in areas where the University's expertise matches regional and state needs.
Infrastructure Management Institute (IMI)
IMI, aligned with NKU's College of Informatics, provides a collaborative platform for organizations and individuals to drive innovative IT solutions. The IMI assists in technology assessments, professional development, business continuity planning, IT security research and best practice adoption. The IMI offerings are delivered through a network of coordinated resources including IMI staff, partners, and members as well as NKU College of Informatics faculty, staff and students.
International Business Center
IBC offers state-of-the-art research, teaching, and outreach programs that enhance the NKU community's global competitiveness. As the only university-affiliated International Business Center in the region, the center develops globally competitive students prepared for the challenges of today's business environment.
Latino and Multicultural Center for Regional Development
The faculty and staff of NKU's Latino and Multicultural Center for Regional Development (LMC) work with business, government, and non-profit leaders to stimulate regional growth through the integration of Latino and Multicultural residents into the community and economy via education, research, and outreach.
Marketing Research Partnership Program
Our mission is to educate undergraduate students who can perform effectively and ethically as professionals who use and/or supply marketing research. We also seek to create excitement and provide opportunities for students to interact with market research professionals in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Our ultimate goal is to provide our partner firms with researchers who are passionate about research and have the necessary skills to succeed in the marketing research industry.
Metropolitan Education and Training Services (METS)
METS is a full-service, training, development and consulting extension of NKU. With emphasis on technological skills enhancement and world-class management practices, METS brokers and bundles access to local, regional and worldwide resources for needs and performance assessment, training and development, quality assurance, program evaluation and general management consulting.
Office for Economic Initiatives
We are charged with developing and directing the University's regional economic development program. The OEI conducts analyses of the region's economic competitiveness, profiles the needs of the regional companies, provides business development solutions, and supports new business formation and the commercialization of technology with the University as a strategic partner.
Risk Management Institute
Our Institute is a leading source for knowledge, best practices, research, and training in risk assessment, management and loss prevention for businesses, as well as nonprofit and public organizations. The RMI offers customized risk assessments and provides tailored risk mitigation strategies and long-term contracted risk management services.
Scripps Howard Center
By engaging students, faculty and staff at Northern Kentucky University in organized community service, the Center is trying to bring civic knowledge development, and educational pedagogies such as service learning into the mainstream.
Small Business Development Center
The NKU SBDC is part of the 15-center Kentucky SBDC Network and the national 1600-center ASBDC Network. The NKU SBDC operates in partnership with area banks, state, and local governments and development agencies, local chambers of commerce, and U.S. Small Business Administration. We are "Building the Economy One Business at a Time".
University/School Partnerships
We facilitate collaborative projects in which faculty, administrators, and students from local elementary and secondary schools work with the students and education faculty of Northern Kentucky University on a variety of classroom-based and extra-curricular projects that enhance P-16 education for the entire region.
