Alternative Dispute Resolution Center
NKU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Center can provide you with a peaceful way to resolve conflicts and disputes. Consider using NKU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Center because dispute resolution will be quiet and peaceful, fast, facilitated by an interested neutral third party and cheaper than traditional methods.
Burkardt Statistical Consulting Center
Our center provides statistical and mathematical assistance in support of a wide variety of projects??We give advice on data collection and survey design. We recommend, perform, and interpret statistical analyses. We develop and analyze mathematical models for a wide range of applications.
Career Development Center (CDC)
The CDC at Northern Kentucky University, a centralized career services center, works closely with area employers to connect them to talented NKU students and alumni from all majors at the university. The CDC provides a wide range of services to employers: free access to the Norse Recruiting job database portal for posting for career, Co-op and internship positions; free resume referrals; free On-Campus Interviews; and career fairs. CDC staff will consult with employers to help them meet their recruiting goals.
Center for Applied Ecology
This Center provides professional, science-based, ecological services to the local community while offering practical work experience to NKU students. Committed to the wise use, protection, and restoration of native ecosystems and bio diversity, the Center seeks innovative solutions to address the region??s environmental concerns.
Center for Economic Education
Our goal is to improve the quality and quantity of economic instruction at all grade levels in order to promote economic and financial literacy in the community. Housed in the College of Business, the Center provides a full range of services including teacher workshops and courses, curriculum consultation, teaching resources, and programs for youth.
Center for Environmental Education
Our Center serves northern Kentucky and is one of eight centers established at each of the state universities. These centers function as a network called the Kentucky University Partnership for Environmental Education. The centers provide teacher training programs, curriculum resources, and regional services, and conduct research.
Center for Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics (CINSAM)
CINSAM's mission is to enhance the teaching, learning, and applying of Science and Mathematics at NKU and in the schools of the Northern Kentucky region through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Chase Local Government Law Center
Our Center provides technical assistance to Kentucky local governments. In addition, it promotes the study and development of state and local government law, serves as a locus for the College of Law's clinical programs, and is a clearinghouse for general information about local government.
Community Connections
The NKU Connect Center is a single source of information about programs and services offered to the public. NKU Connect is the point of service for Community Connections non-credit courses and provides public event calendaring, web registration and other event management services for selected NKU-sponsored public events.
Fifth Third Bank Entrepreneurship Institute
We are a one-stop shop for all things entrepreneurial students, faculty, staff, regional entrepreneurs, and major corporations depend on the EI for advice, information, and networking opportunities. EI personnel are on the leading edge of entrepreneurship research and apply that research to their curriculum.
Infrastructure Management Institute (IMI)
Our Institute (IMI), aligned with NKU's College of Informatics, provides a collaborative platform for organizations and individuals to drive innovative IT solutions. The IMI assists in technology assessments, professional development, business continuity planning, IT security research and best practice adoption. The IMI offerings are delivered through a network of coordinated resources including IMI staff, partners, and members as well as NKU College of Informatics faculty, staff and students.
Institute for Freedom Studies (IFS)
IFS conducts heritage preservation and local history studies, does research on the Underground Railroad, sponsors student creative and artistic initiatives, develops P-16 related curricula and sponsors local and regional historic site tours having a multi-part purpose to include fostering rural economic development.
International Business Center (IBC)
The (IBC) offers state-of-the-art research, teaching, and outreach programs that enhance the NKU community's global competitiveness. As the only university-affiliated International Business Center in the region, the center develops globally competitive students prepared for the challenges of today's business environment.
Latino and Multicultural Center for Regional Development
Our mission is to stimulate regional growth through integration of Latino and Multicultural residents into the community and economy via education, research, and outreach. The LMC accomplishes this mission through a focus on strengthening P-12 education, health and safety, and economic self sufficiency of the growing multicultural community.
METS Center for Corporate Learning
The METS Center is Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky's Premiere Meeting and Conference Center. We exceed our clients expectations with superior service, advanced technology, outstanding food and beverage within a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Located 3 miles from the Greater Cincinnati Airport (CVG), and within walking distance from leading, national brand hotels.
Office for Economic Initiatives
We are charged with developing and directing the University's regional economic development program. The OEI conducts analyses of the region's economic competitiveness, profiles the needs of the regional companies, provides business development solutions, and supports new business formation and the commercialization of technology with the University as a strategic partner.
Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement
By engaging students, faculty and staff at Northern Kentucky University in organized community service, the Center is trying to bring civic knowledge development, and educational pedagogies such as service learning into the mainstream.
Small Business Development Center
NKU's award-winning Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has helped hundreds of people start and grow successful business since opening its doors in 1980. Services for start-ups and existing businesses include business plan assistance, SBA Loan programs, seminars and more. We are "Building the Economy One Business at a Time"
Training Resource Center
The Training Resource Center (TRC) at NKU is a part of a consortium of the eight Kentucky public universities partnering with the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS). The Center provides high-quality professional development opportunities, facilities and resources for employees of DCBS, foster and adoptive families, as well as community partners.
