University Holidays
2008-2009 Holiday Schedule
Following are the days that Northern Kentucky University will be closed for holidays:
- Martin Luther King Day - Monday, January 19 (2009)
- Memorial Day - Monday, May 25 (2009)
- Independence Day - Wednesday, July 4
- Labor Day - Monday, September 1 (2008)
- National Election Day - Tuesday, November 4 (2008)
- Thanksgiving - Wednesday, November 26 - Friday, November 28 (2008)
- Holiday Break - Monday, December 20 through Tuesday, January 12
We will continue to observe the Holiday Break although some offices will remain open during the break, with limited staff, as has been the practice in prior years.
The University will be open and classes will be held on President's Day, therefore staff will be granted an alternative (floating) holiday.
