Welcome to nku.edu 101, a space where we can explain the new goings-on at Northern Kentucky University's new website, nku.edu. After months of work, our rebuild of the website's top layer is complete! We think you're going to find our new site more vibrant, more relevant and easier to use. But, you may ask, why rebuild the site in the first place? Simple - to help accomplish NKU's mission to our audiences.
 
In the past, our site has been effective, but we wanted to make it even more so. We wanted to create a space where prospective and current students, staff, faculty, alumni and our friends in the community could come to quickly find information about our programs and students. We wanted to create a face for our growing university, one that combined class and creativity. We wanted to display our technological savvy and make our site more user-friendly. We hope you'll deem our efforts a success.
 
At the new nku.edu, information is sorted in a more logical way. Vibrant pictures give a more realistic feel for campus. And other features - like our Campus Terminology, a Virtual Tour and a new Admissions microsite called "Learn, Live, Play, Succeed" - offer fun ways to relay information for all members of our audience.
 
Our university is entering a new age of growth, and we think we now have the necessary web presence to lead the way.
