On fixed positioning
'Position: fixed;" is a form of absolute positioning that fixes the element to the browser window, as opposed to the containing element. Fixed-position elements don’t affect other elements’ positions and don’t move when the user scrolls up/down the page (because they’re attached to the browser).
Use associated CSS properties such as'float:' 'width:' 'top' 'left' 'right' and other location-specific properties to put the fixed DIV exactly where you want it.
