It’s easy to get around via foot, different ride services, bikes and scooters.
Whether it’s catching a major league baseball game and petting a live shark with the family, or reconnecting with a romantic weekend of art museums and theater, there's always more to explore, new adventures to be had and memories to be made at Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky attractions.
Cincinnati has a quite a lot going on. From the rapidly-revitalizing Over-the-Rhine (OTR) to the suburbs and even all the way across the river into Kentucky neighborhoods like Newport and Covington, the city really feels like it’s on the up-and-up. Inventive new restaurants and experiences opening almost weekly combine with a rich history and a strong sense of Cincy pride to make The Queen City a really fascinating place to explore, as an out-of-towner or as a local.
Cincinnati sits in a curve of the Ohio River, the metro area spilling south into Kentucky. Though paddleboats and barges are no longer the city's lifeline, the river remains a focal point. While you’re here, explore downtown. You'll find the Bengals' and Reds' new stadiums, as well as the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, a powerful reminder that for escaping slaves, the river marked the entry to freedom. But many of Cincinnati's other big attractions, such as the art museum, zoo and Union Terminal, are scattered around the city (population: 333,350). That means you'll spend some time in your car, but don't worry. Cincinnati offers pretty urban neighborhoods. Once you've oriented yourself, put away the map and wander a bit.
As you might imagine, to keep a convention of this size running smoothly requires an awful lot of coordination. Each year, we are in need of about 100 volunteers per convention to cover shifts each day of the convention. Get in touch with us at 888-555-0413 to find a volunteer opportunity.
