By Mike Anderson, NKU Sports Information SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis team ended its 2009 season on Friday after dropping a 5-0 decision to Drury in the opening round of the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament. NKU (19-8) failed to pick up a set in the contest, dropping all three doubles matches before Stephanie Isaacs and Michelle Schirmann saw defeat in their singles flights to secure the result. The Panthers (21-4) took the regular season meeting between the two clubs by a 6-3 score. |
