The GeoMed Advisor
The advisor will ask you a series of questions about your data and
the kind of clustering you wish to detect, then suggest an appropriate
test. You simply choose the best response, given your data and question.
What kind of clustering is hypothesized?
Notes:
- If you hypothesize both
space and time clustering, but not interaction, conduct separate
analyses, first for time clustering and then for space clustering.
- A rule of thumb:
- The type of randomization procedure used by a test is a
consequence of the Null Hypothesis;
- the choice of test statistic is a consequence of the
Alternative Hypothesis.
