Looking for a unique birthday party experience for your young astronomer? Haile Planetarium at Northern Kentucky University is the perfect place to host your next out of this world celebration!

Party Package Includes:

A Planetarium show of your choice (30 min)
Birthday child’s name on the Planetarium’s dome
A tour of the night sky (20 min / substitutions available)
Each guest can take command of the planetarium (40 min)
Two (2) parking passes
Party Area available for 30 min

Length of Party

We allow for 120 minutes for each party with 30 minutes of set up time for the party room prior to guests arriving.

Pricing

Cost is $200 for up to twenty-four children. Gift Bags may be added on for an additional charge.

Birthday parties are available on most Saturdays. All time slots are subject to availability.

We offer three time slots for parties:

10:00 a.m. – noon
12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Birthday Party Guidelines

Birthday parties must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
A final guarantee of the number of children and adults you expect to attend is due by noon three weekdays prior to the date of the birthday party.
One parent or guardian of the birthday party child is required to stay the entire time. In total there should be: one adult for every 5 children ages 4 to 7; one adult for every 10 children ages 8-15. You are responsible for supervision of all children at all times.
You may bring in your own decorations. However, use of confetti, glitter, bubbles and fireworks is prohibited. The Planetarium will not permit affixing anything to the sheetrock walls by any method (i.e. nails, tacks, tape, glue, Velcro, etc.). Decorations may be attached to the concrete walls. Users will be charged for any damage. For safety reasons, piñatas are not allowed.
No additional entertainers may be invited to the party (clowns, jugglers, etc.).
Northern Kentucky University reserves the right to change prices.
