Community Health Worker (CHW) Stipend Program

The Community Health Worker (CHW) Stipend Program provides financial support for students pursuing careers in behavioral healthcare.

Program Benefits

Funded by the Community Health Worker Training Program (CHWTP) grant, this program offers a $7,500 field placement stipend to eligible students.

Who qualifies?

Students in good academic standing enrolled in the following programs:

  • Human Services and Addictions
  • Social Work (BSW & MSW)
  • Counseling

Program Requirements

  • Plan to complete a field placement within one to two semesters after applying
  • Maintain good academic standing
