Empowering Faculty-Community Partnerships Through P-12 Education
Unlock new opportunities to support P-12 students, educators, and pathways to higher education. The P-12 Pathway Programs Hub is actively seeking partnerships with departments and individual faculty to further develop educational opportunities for students in our region.
The P-12 Pathway Programs Hub's mission is to introduce P-12 students to opportunities in higher education, emphasizing opportunities at NKU. We value active learning, positive engagement, and shared leadership to provide meaningful impact on students.
Your involvement can make a difference. Faculty like Dr. Jay Avenido, Dr. Mary Schilling, Dr. Chris Curran, and Dr. Michael Guy were highlighted during our annual Doctor for a Day program. Girl Scouts who attend this event are more likely to apply to NKU and express an interest in health careers.
Since 2018, we have served nearly 10,000 students in the region. 80% of students who attend two or more of our programs apply to NKU.
