STAR courses will be designated with STAR suffix appended to existing courses that fulfill NKU’s Foundation of Knowledge requirements
First-Year Students will enroll in a First-Year Seminar Sequence of two courses (6 credit hours), ENG 101-STAR and ENG 102-STAR, which fulfill written communication requirements.
After the first year, students may elect to continue their STAR experience to complete a certificate within General Education by taking three additional STAR courses (9 credit hours).
