2020 Innovation Challenge Winners Announcement

The 2020 Innovation Challenge invited the campus to submit proposals with innovative student success ideas with the possibility of receive a portion of the $500K award funding. The finalist “pitched” their ideas to the campus to compete for the funding and were assessed by students and student success proponents from across the state. Below are the list of winners.

In August 2019, President Vaidya announced a one-time $2 million Strategic Investment and Innovation Fund. $1.5 million is dedicated to projects to be determined by the implementation teams that address the First Five Initiatives of the Success by Design Framework. The remaining $500,000 will be allocated to “unleash” innovative ideas from across campus to support any initiatives of Success by Design while encouraging broad participation.
