Releasing Baby Sea Turtles into the Ocean

Baby sea turtles in the sand
On the 5th day in Costa Rica, we were able to meet up with Ricardo and help release the baby sea turtles into the wild. Ricardo gathers the eggs that he finds in turtle nests on the beach in order to protect the baby turtles from predators. He then releases them into the ocean once they have hatched.
