Day 2: Calculus with Business Applications

Asthma case, slight reprise:
- Critical concept: functions
  - functions take inputs and give outputs
  - Example: Asthma(weather,pollution,pollen,biology)
    inputs are in parentheses; output is Asthma (meaning extent of problem, measured perhaps by FEV (forced expiratory volume).
- %FEV as a function of time
  - Sketch the data/function
  - When is relief the greatest?
  - When is relief the least?
  - What is the average increase in %FEV over 12 hours?
