Email re 26, section 1.2

Your last e-mail did answer my questions but another has come up. I have used the MVT in problem 26 to approximate the error. My answer is |f'(c)*epsilon|. Is this correct?
How did you use the derivative? How is it related to f(c)*?
I belive that it is, however, this gives me a problem for parts b and c. They give epsilon and x and I use epsilon to plug into the equation, however, what do I use for the value c?
You shouldn't use "c", but rather bound the error by the maximum of the derivative on the interval (since you don't know exactly where the value of c occurs).
