Don Krug will take this class on Monday (I'll be out of town). He'll be
continuing with recurrence relations, and it's not something that you'll want
to miss!
Your homework (for section 2.1) is returned: (11/24 didn't do it!). Graded
4:
Don't arbitrarily limit the domain.
8:
1 is not prime.
14:
I let you get away without as much justification as you
could. Don't get sloppy on me, now....
66:
Invoke the reasons for your proofs (justify!).
I'm docking a little for non-completion (if you write out a number, but leave it blank....) At least make a stab at it!
Projects: Many of you haven't contacted me yet. I'm hear tomorrow,
but then I'm out of town from Thursday night until Tuesday. Please contact me
ASAP for your passwords for the wiki. I don't want to be doing that next
Tuesday night....
To run the examples from norsemathology.org, fire up SWI-Prolog, and then
File -> New -> give-a-name.pl
Paste the code into give-a-name.pl
File -> Consult (and choose give-a-name.pl)
Then you can execute commands to the data base, essentially proving theorems.
