It will serve to replace a lower homework grade, if you choose to do it. It will also help you to prepare for the final, since anti-derivatives will appear on the final.
Your score will not have any numerical impact on your grade -- it's just diagnostic. Simply do your best. All the information I get back is your name (that you've taken it).
The exam will be a mix of new and old stuff. Our last exam went through 3.3, so there will be some new material from 3.4, 3.7, and 3.9.
Expect around 60% old, 40% new. And I will try to give fairly thorough coverage of the course.
