Finally! The main event: today we'll be hearing from Prof. Dan McGee,
Executive Director of the Kentucky Center for Mathematics, and
Professor, NKU Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I've
asked Prof. McGee to talk about "Math, Education, and Society". I'd
thought about adding "Governance" to that, too, because I'm sure that
he has learned quite a lot about that in his five years at the center.

Prof. McGee provided us with four discussion questions, and he hopes
that this will, indeed, be a discussion!

	- What does society expect mathematics teachers to prepare us to do?

- What unique opportunities do mathematics teachers have in the
		development of societal thinkers?

- How can mathematics teachers develop non-content-specific skills
		while teaching content?

- Your help: KCM is tasked with creating a system to produce ongoing
p-20 development of content and workforce skills in students.
		How can we do this?
