As per the deadline, I have to go with the later -- Friday, Midnight -- but if you get it to me by Thursday night, I'll get it graded by Friday -- in case there are any issues you should be aware of before the exam.
A recording of the Tuesday lab is here.
Got this from Zoom later: "To share the recording with the integrated audio transcript:" click this link
Here's the recording of Thursday's lab
Today we're looking at "Pitfalls" in Mathematica -- here's one in IMath: you have to be careful how hard you round your numbers. Someone reached out to me, and had the correct answer -- but had truncated a slope to three digits, and that wasn't enough. IMath counted it wrong.
If you ever think that you're right and IMath is wrong, just let me know -- I can look at your response within IMath, and (hopefully!) figure out what went wrong....
I am often also available for zooms at odd hours, if necessary.
Today's lab covers some "Pitfalls and Cool Tools", many of which are suggested by things we've noticed in lab over the last two weeks.
We know -- and we've not been shy about saying -- that Mathematica can be frustrating, so today we want to hit some of the high points of trouble, and also some really nice features that you might have been looking for.
