- Today we welcome Mr. Peter Prengaman, Climate and
Environmental news director for the Associated Press;
as well as Mark Neikirk of the Scripps Howard Center
for Civic Engagement at NKU.
- I'll start with a short presentation about some climate change
issues
- Then we'll turn things over to Mr. Prengaman, to lead a
discussion. But all good discussions require
participation!:) Please chime in.
- Afterwards (perhaps next class) we'll examine
several mathematical models to acccount for
the early blooming of the Cherry blossoms
in our nation's capital. (This example
inspired by a recent
article in the climate
press.)
- Mr. Prengaman will give a public
lecture tonight (Wednesday) evening, 6-7:30 pm, in the Griffin Hall Digitorium,
entitled Covering Climate.
