Figure C1 Partial sums of a geometric series
We take advantage of the fact that the partial sums have an explicit formula. In Figure C1 we show the graphs of both `2-2^(-x)` and `2 - 2^(-n)` for integer values of `n` up to `n=5`. We also show the limiting value at `y=2`.
