The units for `c`, “meters per second per second,” or `m text(/) text(sec)^2`, may look a little strange at first. But note that the left-hand side `s` of the equation `s=ct^2` is in meters, so the right-hand side must be also. Since the units for `t^2` are `text(sec)^2`, that requires that the units for `c` be `m text(/) text(sec)^2`.
