  1. Print this file with its copy of Figure 3, and label the distances that give the `xtext[-]` and `ytext[-]`coordinates of the runner. Also label the `100text[-]`meter radius.

  2. Explain why `x` and `y` are related to `theta` by cosine and sine functions, respectively. (Think about the right triangle in the figure.)

  3. Explain why, as you continue running laps, both your `xtext[-]`coordinate and your `ytext[-]`coordinate oscillate between `100` meters and  `-100` meters.
