As `t` becomes large and the exponential term dies out, the function has to approach `M`. It is clear that from the fact that we had a total of `100` bulbs that `M` must be `100`. That is, all the bulbs eventually burn out.
By experimentation, we find that a reasonable value for `r` is `0.032`.
