Andrew and I first went to where we thought the voting was taking place, but supposedly when court became in session they moved it to ^^^ that building. The new Campbell County Court house, pretty nice building and within our first exit polling experience they told us what they thought of it. An elderly couple ranted about how terrible it was because this is a poor county and all that money to pay for the nice new courthouse came from their pockets, and they went on to mention the condition of the streets in the area and how it could have been used more. After about a minute or so we settled them down and began to ask them if they would like to be apart of our study, and they seemed quite appalled and said, no i dont tell anyone who i voted for. Most of the people that came out of the court house weren't only a tad bit scary but most of them had court papers and were not in a very good mood. We asked several of these court paper carriers to participate but they told us they did not vote.

During our research time there were not that many voters, maybe 14 and only half participated in our study. Andrew and I were both dressed nicer than the average college student i would say, and approached the public in a polite manner. I found it kinda enjoyable seeing most of the peoples reactions to us asking a simple question, especially the elderly people. You couldnt have given them 100 dollars to find out. Everyone that participated was nice and willing while some people didnt understand and one fellow actually ran off with our ballot. Overall it wasnt so bad, the people that refused to participate, I felt like I could tell who they voted for just in the 2 seconds that they talked. Just by their reaction and tone and wether or not they participated.
