Polls

I conducted my exit poll at Lindeman Elementary since it is only four blocks from my house.  When I first got there I thought, despite the signs, that this wasn’t a voting place because there were so few people.  Luckily within moments of my pulling up, several people walked out.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready for them and had to watch them all drive away.  I guess it was the hour I chose to go because I only saw about twenty people and only twelve of them agreed to the poll.  Most of those who agreed were elderly.   The younger crowd had a habit of brushing me off.  I didn’t do it purposely that’s just the way it happened.  The trickle of people was so few that I had no choice but to ask everyone that walked out the door.

The time I chose to go was at ten-thirty, the time I kind of figured that adults with kids off of school would go up and get it over with before the kids became too much trouble.  I was wrong.  It was freezing out and by the time my half hour was over and I got back in the car my fingers and toes were frozen.  It was sunny though so I warmed up quickly although that didn’t stop my disappointment at the number of votes I ended up receiving (having put two of each in the box before hand I didn’t realize how few people I had gotten).

I was at Lindeman Elementary from 10:30 until 11:05.

Seven votes were for Jack Conway and five were for Rand Paul and seven people declined to give their answer.
