Due to prior commitments in the late afternoon and evening I had the choice of going out to vote and take exit-voting results at the crack of dawn, or during the lunch rush—such tempting choices!

So, there I was... a quarter to twelve outside of my voting precinct with my gear.  It’s a cool crisp day and voters are trickling in one at a time at a slow, but constant pace.  I stand ready with a cup of candidate slithers and my trusty Scotties ® tissue box.

I felt a bit odd approaching the people who had come to do their civic duty, but to a person, everyone was friendly and offered to contribute to the exit polling.  At 12:25pm, after 40 minutes I had eight results to tally:

After several failed attempts trying to photograph myself, at the precinct, a staff member helped me out and snapped this photo just outside of the St. Phillips Recreational Center doors.
