Today at the voting center, it was very interesting on how serious event this was. I went around 3:30 because it gets very busy around that time because every one is starting to get off work. The voting center was at the Independence Fire Department.  Josh Brown and I went up there together because he and I never really voted before. I never really cared much for it because I don’t know much about politics. I was told by my parents to vote for Republican because of the health care plan or something. I really didn’t listened to them because I will vote who I want to vote. When I walked in with my voting box, several people looked very confused on why I had the box. When I told them about why I was here, the workers put on impression that after I vote you best go outside and do this. Josh and I went outside and took our picture and I decided to ask around but it seemed to start off little slow because no one was coming up to vote for like the first ten minutes.

The first person who I started with was an officer from Fort Thomas. When I asked him, he looked and said, “None of your business sir.” The next voters I asked where a couple of seniors. They were wearing Rand Paul buttons and I figured ill ask them anyways. The senior citizens were actually pretty polite and told me who they voting but they couldn’t understand why I was doing this for a math class. After that, it got little easier for me because the next several people who came up to vote I knew who they were. Some were my neighbors and others were my friend’s parents. They wanted me to keep their names disclosed because they didn’t think this right to ask around whom people voted for. I did get my usually turn downs because they thought it wasn’t my business but the voters were nice enough to decline answering my questions. I sat around for about half hour and decided to quit because I was freezing cold. My finally results were 21 for Rand Paul, 16 for Jack Conway and 9 that declined to give their vote to me. I started around 3:30 and ended at 4:05.
