There isn’t a lot of variety to the voters of Dearborn County, Indiana, District Logan 1.  Basically the same people you see around the town. Old people, sitting in folding chairs eating deep fried cod and cole slaw while talking bitterly about Democrats.

The process of convincing these chair ridden old coots to participate in our study was a tedious and generally uneventful one. Whenever I asked them about their vote, they immediately broke eye contact, and usually just walked away. I was “fortunate” enough to collect 7 votes, all of which were Republican. A man took one look at me, and at my car that was parked closely by. He made a snide comment about my immigration reform bumper sticker, and walked about. I’m genuinely surprised he didn’t try to attack me.  After roughly 30 minutes of waiting outside of the pathetic excuse of a library, I decided to pack my wagon up and head on home. The Republicans laughed their way to the whipping post on November 2nd. So it goes.
