One student's reaction:

You can do the test over at home, and hand it in on 3/19 (the first Wednesday after break). I'll average your scores. Here's a link to the Adobe pdf file version of the test.

Comments so far: in many cases fundamentals seem to be lacking!

• Is it possible to take a test on derivatives without knowing the definition of the derivative?
• Many don't seem to know what a composition is, or how to evaluate one.
• Algebra is murdering some people (or rather, some people are murdering algebra!).
