  • Drawing a plane requires simply showing three points on the plane.
  • Not enough of you thought about the shape of the graph of f(x,y)=x+y-1 (that it's a plane); use your brain first, and then rely on formulas....

    • It's a pet peeve of mine (it's - contraction of "it is").
    • its - possessive of it - its graph, its derivative
    (if English were math, this would not be!)
