    2. Define
       1. Sample $proportion$. We just finished talking about the distribution of a sample proportion, so what is it? $\hat{p}$ is a number from 0 to 1, the fraction of the sample having a given property.
       2. Two kinds of variables
          1. categorical: vary by groups, which generally are unordered.
          2. quantitative: say more than "given by a number." They vary continuously.
