- Since we're in a Corona virus scare, I thought I'd show you how
relevant your course is. Question: Do you think that we should we
conduct universal testing for Corona virus?
The following results are for a method of testing for Corona (COVID-19).
Using RT-PCR results as reference, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and accuracy of chest CT imaging were calculated. A 95% confidence interval was provided by the Wilson score method. The performance of chest CT for identifying COVID-19 in different age groups (<60 years and $\ge$ 60 years) and by gender was compared by the Chi-square test.
