Math/Stat Lab now on-line

Students: I've received the following message from our chair:

As we transition to a virtual campus, the Math & Stat Lab is also transitioning to an online platform. Instead of dropping-in to MEP 457 for help, you can now drop-in to a Canvas site in order to access a virtual Zoom tutoring room.

If you need help from a tutor, you'll first need to self-enroll in the Canvas site by clicking this link: https://nku.instructure.com/enroll/REL73G. After enrolling, you can go directly to the course. If you are visiting the lab during our normal hours (listed on the Canvas homepage), you'll click a link to enter a Zoom tutoring room. The waiting room has been enabled on the room, so it may take a few moments for the tutor to give you access. Think of this as knocking on a door and waiting for someone to open it. The lab continues to be drop-in, so please be patient as the tutors may be trying to help several students at once.

If you access the Canvas site after hours, then you will have the option to ask questions on a course-specific discussion board. A tutor will be checking the discussion boards periodically and will reply with assistance.

Please note that tutors may not offer assistance on quizzes/exams. We ask that you respond to this disruption in the spring semester with honesty and integrity. Please do not put the tutors (or yourself) in a situation that would be in direct violation of NKU's Student Honor Code.

We hope that you'll continue to take advantage of the Math & Stat Lab throughout the remainder of the spring semester!
