ELK GROVE VILLAGE - Doris V. Lawson, 87, peacefully passed away March 22, 2021. Doris was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Lawson Jr. (2008); loving mother of Karen (Jeff) Bollman, the late Susan (Craig) Amedeo, and Robert P. (Patricia) (daughter, Toni) Lawson; cherished grandmother of Andrew (Brianna) Bollman, Alec Bollman, and Allison Amedeo. Doris retired from a long career at Marshall Fields and was also a very active member of Prince of Peace United Methodist Church in Elk Grove Village for 60 years. Doris will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 17th, from 1 PM until the service time of 4 PM at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, 1400 Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
