  • Mrs. Ulman was a great friend and mentor to our mother, Lyn Long. Mom was saddened when Liz moved to the Columbus area, to be closer to family (but farther from some friends, and those she loved and cared for in the Presbyterian church).
  • Mom and I had the privilege of visiting Liz in her home in Gahanna in February of this year, and we were regaled with tales of her travels (described in her obituary) and early life in Bowling Green; but Liz was still very much interested in current events, what we were doing, and life in Bowling Green.
