Evaluation Conclusions                


EngenderHealth (EngenderHealth) does not meet the following Standard for Charity Accountability.

Standard 3 : Frequency and Attendance of Board Meetings - An organization shall have a minimum of three evenly spaced meetings per year of the full governing body with a majority in attendance, with face-to-face participation. A conference call of the full board can substitute for one of the three meetings of the governing body. For all meetings, alternative modes of participation are acceptable for those with physical disabilities.

  • EngenderHealth does not meet this Standard because the organization reports holding only two meetings of the board of directors during the past  fiscal year.

Charity Response:  EngenderHeath reports that the board of directors will schedule 3 meetings to be held during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008.

Programs                


EngenderHealth offers orientation, training, and technical support to provider institutions, professionals, and government entities in all respect of developing, implementing, and evaluating family planning and reproductive heath care service delivery systems. The organization works to advance health and family planning services worldwide. Their activities include developing and disseminating client, public, and professional information and education materials, training curricula, and other technical materials; conducting and publishing clinical and practical research; assisting in development of public policy; and convening and conducting seminars, conferences, and other professional events.
