Centre-satellite components

This figure illustrates the components of the centre-satellite model:

  1. Generate centres via a Poisson process
  2. From the distribution of cluster sizes, sample cluster sizes for each site
  3. Distribute the N cluster points at a given centre about the centre according to a density function (here bi-variate, in the 2-d case).
