25.2.5.5 Controlling Access
The system administrator can set access restrictions on printers with the lpadmin command. Use the -u option to allow or deny access to individual users.
# lpadmin -p lp -u allow:frank,bobd,jeffs
# lpadmin -p lp -u deny:any,body,we,want,to
Set the default printer with the lpadmin command:
# lpadmin -d default_printer_name
