Anna's Chili
Ingredients:
- One big green pepper, chopped. [That's a great start! I'm liking this recipe already!]
- One big onion, chopped. [It just gets better!]
- 2 packages mild McCormick chili seasoning. [Boring...]
- 3 cans 15.5 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed.
- 64 oz can V8 juice
- 2 cans 15.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 lbs ground beef.
- 2 11g boullion cubes, beef or chicken
- Salt to taste.
- [Andy suggests you might want a little chili powder...just sayin'.]
Here are your official steps:
- Brown beef and drain, and add onion and pepper during the process
to soften for a few minutes.
- Dump in the V8 and tomatoes, beans, and other wet stuff.
- Drop in the cubes (they'll dissolve soon).
- Stir in seasoning packets well.
- Bring to a boil and stir occasionally so that it doesn't burn on
the bottom. 20 minutes.
- Salt to taste.
