Lentils and Rice (without Goya)
Ingredients:
- One large onion, chopped
- 1 t cayenne pepper
- 1 t cumin
- 1/2 t ground coriander
- 1 t garlic powder
- 2 bouillon cubes (makes 4 cups of bouillon)
- 4 cups of water
- 1 pound of lentils (washed)
- 1 t salt
Boil everything together. When the lentils are done to your preferred softness,
mash some of them to give the sauce a little more body. The more you mash, the
more body.
Cook rice on the side, and throw 'em together. Lentils and beans! Yum...
