105 Introduction to Business Computing
- Application of computer hardware,
software, and computing techniques to
common business problems and
activities: microcomputers and
business productivity packages
including word processors,
spreadsheets, databases, and other
systems and applications software;
extensive hands-on work in a
graphical user environment. At the
present time the professional version
of Microsoft Office 2000 is used
in the course. This includes Word 2000, Excel
2000, Access 2000,
and PowerPoint 2000. Microsoft Windows 98 is currently being taught
along with OLE (object linking and
embedding). The Internet and Web
Page concepts are also discussed
in the course.
