Current Research

My current research is primarily in the areas of African bioethics, African healthcare ethics, and African research ethics. I examine indigenous African communal (i.e. communitarian or community-centered) ethical and metaphysical beliefs, norms, and practices on health and health care as a foundational context for decolonized understanding and evaluation of the ethics and morality of contemporary practices and policies in medical research and health care in African societies.
